INTRODUCTION

The Ulimasao Programme is ATAMU Incorp's service to ensure that our Samoan/Pasifika children and young people strive to meet their full potential.

The word Ulimasao is made up of two Samoan words – Uli meaning to navigate, to direct, to steer and to guide and sao meaning safety. Ulimasao’s mission is to steer the collective engagement of our community sectors (church community, parents and families, schools) to genuinely commit towards a positive future for our children and young people. 

The programme provides a space for our children and young people to focus on the following areas:

• Academics
• Spiritual and Cultural Enrichment
• Leadership and Mentoring, and
• Health and Fitness

VISION STATEMENT

We envision our children to grow and develop into successful:

• Samoans
• Law abiding and properly educated citizens of Aotearoa
• Holistically nurtured leaders – physically, spiritually, emotionally and culturally
• Socially and environmentally responsible individuals
